Drawing inspiration from the evocative and modern Craken – the Stone Italiana slab that has taken up the concept of craquelé and reinterpreted it in a contemporary key – De Silva, together with Mario Antonioli, has created a side table in which strength and dynamism, lightness and solidity are skilfully combined. A design with a clean, distinct line, where the quartz material is skilfully shaped to meet the project’s requirements, much like origami. A single form with multiple perspectives.
