Design Story

Tanjun is a project driven by selfishness.

Not from a brand, not from a trend, not from a market,

but from a simple necessity:

I needed a library...

The Heart wanted it in movement, opened, suspended, solid but light.

The Reason wanted it to be economical, modular, simple to build

and to be assembled, without screws, monomateric, low impact,

unpainted.

There shouldn't have been anything else,

just heart and reason,

no brand identity, marketing, “instagrammability”,

just Design.

Tanjun is almost an outlet, a personal, intimate object,

I think we shouldn't be afraid to say:

"I did it for myself"

then if others like it too, even better, but I made it for myself,

I needed it.
